Eat bad tasting food

I believe the key to this project is to eat food that tastes bad. The reason is simple: if you eat food that tastes good, you can never know whether or not you are eating because you are hungry or because you want a treat. When it comes to something as primal as food cravings, I don’t trust that I will ever be able to make this distinction honestly. In addition, for carbs, the source must be extremely low GI, since then you avoid the craving for a sugar rush.

First Steps

First step along the way is to stock up on some prebiotics. These seem to come in two basic varieties: FOS and GOS. GOS seems to help with indigestion and flatulence, so I will start with GOS.

From there, I get confused. How does one determine the best quality? For no great reason, I will start by ordering Prebiotin brand.

Intro

I wish to live without eating, just to get off the endless cycle of cravings and “discipline”, which really means unpleasant denial of cravings. Why not just fuel up like a car? People are of course more complicated than cars, but we are learning more about nutrition all the time, and I think the basic human needs could be covered, which I am sure is better than what I’m doing now.
